Elsie loves her garden parties and always is the quintessential host. Friends from her neighborhood meander over, often uninvited, because she is so gracious and willing to drop what she's doing to give a tour of her new rose blooms. Her favorite fan tray is put to good use in offering her guests a glass of hibiscus tea with lemon syrup. She puts on her silk kimono, adds a garnish of a paper umbrella to each glass and she is good to go!
